Share Your Story to Help Expand the History of Hill Auditorium
The research team for the Inclusive History Project’s Hill Auditorium project is gathering stories that reveal the fuller, more complex history of Hill Auditorium—beyond its celebrated reputation for world-class acoustics and classical music performances. The Inclusive History Project is currently conducting research into these untold histories. We invite anyone with a connection to Hill to help us uncover the experiences, events, and moments that shaped its legacy by sharing your untold stories with us. Did you work behind the scenes or on the stage at Hill Auditorium? Were you part of a protest in or outside of the building? Were you a member of a student organization that put on events on Hill’s stage? Did you attend a conference or convocation or teach-in at the auditorium, or were you in the audience during an electrifying speech or performance? If so, the Inclusive History Project wants to hear from you!

Your answers will not be shared publicly, but they will be read by staff, faculty, and researchers affiliated with the Inclusive History Project at the University of Michigan.
